What do I mean “Cleanish”?

Cleanish fantasy fiction simply means my books avoid the following: grotesque descriptions of violence, frequent strong language (you know the words), and descriptive sexual language or acts.

My books do, however, include the occasional use of harsher language, moderate depictions of violence, and occasional sexual innuendo.

Why tho?

I write like this because these are the kinds of books I want to read. I’ve been around the internet and I’m not a prude. I just feel more comfortable reading a book I know won’t surprise me with something I can’t get out of my head in a bad way. And for those who don’t mind things getting a little violent, foul, or risque, I think you will find that the book is still good without the harsher content.

If you are wondering what age range my book is appropriate for, my simple answer is 13 and up, but my books are targeted at an adult audience.

If you like fantasy fiction that respects worldbuilding without taking a lot of time to do it and doesn’t take itself too seriously while still respecting serious, emotional moments, then go to my Books page for more information on what’s current with my writing.
